CLEANPLAST
Epoxy glazing For containers and term enters for beer
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CLEANPLAST is an epoxy product for extra thick finishes. The product, made up of liquid epoxy resins and, inorganic pigments, is free of solvents and permits the application of high thickness values per each layer.
CLEANPLAST, hardened with the appropriate LR HARDENER, forms odourless, tasteless coalings, free of porosity and with the following general features:
- Increased surface hardness
- Maximum resistance to abrasion
- High impermeableness
- Suitable for contact with aggressive liquids
- Suitable for contact with foodstuffs. The coating after undergoing tests provided for by the relevant legislation on the subject turned out to be in full compliance with the requirements (D.M. 21/3/73 Suppl. C.U. n. 104 of 20/4/73 and subsequent.)
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Product recommended for the coating of the inside of cisterns and tanks in iron, steel, concrete, etc. designed to contain beer.
COMPOSITION
Inert, inorganic pigments dispersed in appropriate binder based on liquid epoxy resins, free of solvents, which are hardened by reaction with an epoxy-polyamide adduct.

APPLICATION STANDARDS
APPLICATION:
Air-less, brush, roller. In the case of particularly cold temperatures or for the need of more fluidity, warm the CLEANPLAST in warm water at a temperature of40-50°C before adding LR HARDENER.
RATIO OF USE:
CLEANPLAST 100 parts in weight
LR HARDNENER 30 parts in weight
Accurately mix the two components and apply with the desired method. Optimal results arc obtained applying the mixture without diluting. If necessary dilute with max. 10% of ethyl alcohol or appropriate thinner A
Pot life : 1 hour;
Average thickness : 350-400 microns (in particular cases up to 700 microns);
Drying at 25°C : dust dry : 10 hours
: complete : 24 hours
Average practical yield : 1.9-2.1 m3/Kg (thickness in micron)
Appearance of the film : glossy
USE ON CONCRETE OR PLASTER
1) Remove parts not perfectly anchored or powder through sandblasting or brushing.
2) Application of a coat of Epoxidro as undercoat and anchoring agent for the following coats.
3) After 12-24 hours apply CLEANPLAST in a ratio of 200-250 microns per coat to the desired thickness.
USE ON CARBON STEEL:
1) Degreasing and removal of calamine and oxides through sandblasting or brushing.
2) Application of CLEANPLAST in the ratio of 150-200 microns per coat to the desired thickness.
